Biscuit Crumb

The Biscuit Crumb is a compact, single-chip Biscuit built on the ESP32-C5. It gives you the full set of WiFi and Bluetooth scanning tools in a smaller form factor, controlled entirely from the Biscuit Manager app on iOS or Android.

Single-Chip Design

Unlike the Pro and Ultra, the Crumb runs everything on one chip — the ESP32-C5 handles both wireless scanning and the BLE connection to your phone directly. There is no secondary WROOM chip.

The Crumb has:

  • Dual-band WiFi 6 scanning (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz)
  • Bluetooth scanning and attacks
  • 6 RGB LEDs that respond to active scans and attacks
  • Serial number provisioning via on-board SPI flash — each unit has a unique BSK- serial
  • No SD card slot

Connecting

Connection works the same as any Biscuit:

  1. Power on the Crumb
  2. Open the Biscuit Manager app
  3. The app scans for nearby Biscuit devices — tap yours to connect
  4. The dashboard shows your device info and scan controls

For the full walkthrough, see the First Connection Guide.

LED Indicators

The Crumb has 6 RGB LEDs that give real-time feedback:

Color Meaning
Breathing blue Scan in progress
Breathing red Attack in progress
Orange (solid) OTA update ready
Orange (blinking) Installing OTA update
Red/blue flash Jam detection alarm
Off Idle

Brightness and LED on/off can be adjusted from the app Settings.

Troubleshooting

Can’t find the Crumb in the app Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and location permission is granted. The Crumb advertises as “Biscuit Crumb” — if you see it in your phone’s Bluetooth settings but not the app, force-quit and reopen the app.

LEDs not lighting up Check that LED feedback is enabled in app Settings. The LEDs only activate during active scans or attacks.
